April 21st Update

Welcome back! I hope everyone is enjoying spring, I know I am! Well, guess who is our child of the month!! This will be the last time because as of the first week in MAY, he will be transferred to a not so nice orphanage and it is doubtful he will be available for adoption. So one more time, I am pleading, please help us get the word out! He has a $13,000 grant towards his adoption which pays for his agency and international fees. You can email stephanie@untilallhavehomes.org for more info. And feel free to cross post everything but his picture! We have been told he is a super bright boy with a great personality, he does not deserve to be locked away!

Not much new here! We are just starting to revamp our website. Somehow it is like a closet that stuff just keeps getting thrown into it and now it feels cluttered. So we are spring cleaning and even painting the website, hopefully our new look will be revealed soon all streamlined and easy to navigate! (THANK YOU FAMI!)

Country updates: Many of you know that due to the Hague many countries are not allowing any photo listings. So most of our Asia children will be text only. I hate this as much as all of you! We are still unsure what is going to happen once they go to all shared lists. But until we know something definite, we will keep listing the children that way! Haiti seems to be moving slowly in a forward direction! It seems forever since we matched a child from Haiti (have you looked to see how cute they are) but things appear to be looking up and with some changes being made in the powers at hand in Haiti everyone is praying that adoptions will start moving again in a timely matter. We added 2 new kids under Africa, please take a peek. As always EE is one of our larger waiting kids lists. There have been some great matches recently, but there are still many that needs homes. There are so many changes going on everywhere in the adoption world. Seems like every week there is a new rule or a country change. So pls make sure you do your homework before you decide on a child!

We are always looking for ppl who have a heart and passion for adoption. I know many ppl don't think they have much to give. Well, we always have a place for self motivated ppl. If you are self worker who loves to be a team member, pls email me at: ann@untilallhavehomes.org. We are always looking for prayer partners too. You can email me also about that.

If you would like to see what is going on with our African projects, just follow the African logo on this page and it will take you to our new site and also our blog. We are going to have the school sponsorship up and running by June 1 and our orphanage is almost ready to OPEN!! Everything is set in place, we just need the ppl overseeing this area in Burkina to come inspect us one more TIME! and then they will start referring children to us. You can see more about that on our FOG blog.

Ok, let's find Mikhail a home! (boy above). This is not MY ministry but YOURS! We need an input from everyone to make a difference! Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!

ALSO, IF YOU ARE A UAHH FAMILY AND WE DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT PICTURE OF YOU CHILD THAT YOU FOUND OUR ON WEBSITE, WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU. WE ARE UPDATING THE KIDS HOME PAGE INTO A GREAT SLIDE SHOW!

I NEED A HOME!

Henri is living at the Real Hope for Haiti rescue center and has been waiting too long for a family of his own. He was found out front of the rescue center abandoned. He had shunt surgery in Haiti by the traveling docs from Miami and has been doing well ever since. If you are interested in more info on Henri please contact Sarah@untilallhavehomes.org

FINALLY, AN UPDATE APRIL 3

Wow! I can't believe it has been a month! I know you have all been faithful and I am sorry it has been so long.

To days child is well, the same child we have had for several times running. Mikhail is from EE. He turns FOUR early May where he will be put in a not so nice orphanage. We need a paper ready or close to paper ready family for him. He has a FULL GRANT which included agency and International fees. He is very very smart and is very very active. PLEASE help us find him a home! You may cross post (everything but his picture) to other groups. You can print this out and take it to your church, your Sunday School, your work, anything! If anyone wants more info on M. please contact Stephanie@untilallhavehomes.org

Can you believe the HAGUE is now in effect??!! All the NEW rules and agencies getting accredited! You can read more about how this process might affect you on rainbowkids.com. Speaking of Hague, it seems if China is making sure EVERYONE is compliant here in the US. Many agencies are only letting us text list the China children and of course rumor has it that they will go to group listings for the agencies. We will keep our site up and running on China until it is no longer needed. We are hoping that we will still be able to somehow help with the agency lists. So PLS do stop by our Asia pages as there are still children who need homes!

We are working on a cookbook to raise money towards grants for children on UAHH. If you would like to submit recipes, we will have a link on our homepage where you can do that. If you would like to help or have questions there is NOW a link on our homepage that you can link to Pat who is heading this up.

On another note, we have our American side to Burkina adoptions up and running. Kids to Adopt in WA state will be handling the adoptions from our orphanage. They are Hague as is Burkina. You can contact them if you are interested in adopting a young'en from Africa. If you want to know more about our Africa project, you can link to it from our UAHH homepage or even from this BLOG!

I can't believe what all can happen in a month! So many changes adoption wise to so many countries. Seems like they are all getting more strict and harder to adopt from. Thanks for being faithful and stopping back. We have LOTS of kids under EE and we still have some babies under Haiti too.

Have a wonderful spring and see you soon!

Until All Have Homes,
