Wow, it has been several weeks since I have updated!!!
First of all I hope everyone is having a meaningful Christmas season. It goes by so fast and with so many things it is hard to really just settle into the "holiday." I bet alot of you moms out there understand what I am saying :)
Well, off to updates. The little EE girl below has a home, our 3 amigos STILL NEED A HOME!!!! We have so many new agencies right now! Lots of new kids. Charlotte is doing an incredible job keeping all of that organnized, thanks Charlotte!! We finally have our Christmas Wish List for the orphanage. Todays pic is of the house we hope to take possession on on Jan 1. We are just waiting for the people to move out. The house is big enough to house around 10 to 15 children. Now all's we need to do is fill it with goodies!!! You can view our wish list by clicking on the link in the far upper left hand corner of our blog or from our homepage. Fami is uploading it today.
We were also very blessed this week to be able to help a church/orphanage in Sierra Leone. They had contacted us and asked to help them sponsor 9 children to go to school. They had 21 sponsored and had 9 let. The money we sent ( we partnered with another ministry) will pay for food and medical for those 9 children too. We also sent enough money for a Christmas party and food for the 30 children. Please keep all the hungry homeless children in your prayers this season. Jesus came to save them too but he needs out help!!! :)
The hosting program on our homepage will not happen until next summer, but please if you would like to host take a peek.
A note on the applications to access the password protected pages. We are now processing around 200 applications a week. In the past we normally would send emails to people for incomplete info and then put the info in when they emailed it back. Due to the volume of emails we are getting the time it is taking, any appliaction with imcomplete info (full name, address, phone number etc) will not be processed nor will a more info email be sent. I hate doing this and I appreciate everyones help making sure their applications are filled out completely.
We have many projects in the works. One of the biggest areas of concern is our prayer ministry, Circle of Love. As we grow and get so many new children, we are always seeking more prayer partners. If you would like to be a part of this VERY important ministry, please use the link from our homepage.
My goal the rest of this season is to post one pic a day of a child in need. I prob won't post a message. So please check back. I ask that each day you come back take the time to pray for that child that day!!!
To the mighty God we serves!!
